JUst saw bright fireball over Pioneer, CA where I live. I heard a loud (What I assuming to be) a sonic boom/impact (?) about 45 seconds after seeing it streak overhead.
This morning April 22 2012 at about 7:30 AM I saw a bright ball of light with a pretty lit up tail fly over some homes in pleasanton, ca. It was about 20,000 feet then I lost the view of it. I never saw it burn out just fly over the homes. My wife and I were walking our dogs when I saw the bright ball of light. She only saw the tail end of it as the tail light went out.
