SE Texas Meteor Fireball Reported To Elpallsky 01OCT2011
Email From:
Zack G.-Beach City, TX:Me and two buddies of mine were wade fishing on the north west Trinity Bay next to the spillway early Saturday morning. We got on the water around 4:45 a.m. and about an hour into our trip we all three saw this red flash of light coming toward the ground. We only saw it for a second. It was Red and looked like a huge falling star. It seemed so close that I was waiting for the smoke to come up from the impact. I was facing the South East, toward Wildlife Refuge or East Bay. It was coming down toward the Lower left of the view. Didnt hear any sound. Only saw a streak of red.
