Very Few Bright Quads Over West Texas...04JAN2010
Below is a composite image of the few bright (-2 magnitude and brighter) Quadrantid meteors captured by the El Paso Sandia All Sky Camera. Highlighted is a sporadic meteor (not belonging to any particular radiant).

Quadrantids Are Underway!...New Year 2011 Starts Off With It's Own Natural Fireworks
The annual Quadrantid meteor shower is underway, but won't peak until Tue Jan 4th around 2:30 a.m. Look northeast for Quadrantid meteors late on January 3 into early January 4 for one of the best meteor showers of 2011
