Possible Meteor Fireball Houston, TX 20SEP2011

Around midnight in Houston driving northbound on I45 near Hobby, saw giant flash of bright blue light, like a mushroom cloud explosion, followed by a 2nd one a few seconds later

At about 8:15 pacific my husband and I were traveling out of the mountains above Big Flat,Ca. We saw a very bright white light fall in a high arc traveling north west. It was definantly as bright as a full moon.
