Breaking Meteor Fireball News...Connecticut, New Jersey Meteor Fireball Reported To ELPALLSKY 20SEP2011

Just witnessed a large green fireball low in the eastern sky over the coast of central jersey shore at approximately 11:28 pm. Thurs sept. 20, 2011.  I am in brick nj  about 1 1/2 miles from the Atlantic coast and I was looking east about (105 degrees) toward the coast when I saw the bright  green fireball traveling across the sky for a few seconds. Anybody else see it?

On September 20,2011 at 11;30 pm I saw a really large shooting star or something that seemed to be fall from the sky, I actually put on my brakes because it seemed so close I waited for something to explode.  Sorry, don,t know the direction, it was right in front of me.  Donna     thanks for your report Donna!

Mary-Long Branch, NJ:
I witnessed a large green fireball descending in the Eastern sky off the coast of Long Branch, NJ at around 11:30 pm. It did not have a tail and disappeared during it's descent. What could this be?     it's known as a fireball...a brighter than normal meteor (shooting star). Thanks for your report Mary!
