Dan-Lions Bay BC, Canada:I saw a large bright light blue ball with pieces coming off. The object was heading south down Howe Sound at 500 to1000'. It was really quite something and I looked everywhere to see if someone else has seen this but can't find anything. I just can't believe no one saw this the tail was like a sparkler, just awesome.

I saw a fireball on September 9th 2011 on Vancouver Island, BC. I have searched the web over looking for someone else who saw it. It was huge! I had never seen anything like it. Orange to bright red with long 'tail'. The sun had just set and I saw it moving north away from the moon
