Tampa Florida June 6th at appx. 11 pm, I witnessed a bright, slow streak heading west over the Gulf of Mexico. Remarkable since I noticed it from my peripheral vision while indoors watching TV. My view was obstructed before it burned up

Melinda-Thousand Oaks, CA:
Hi, I'm in Thousand Oaks California and saw the fireball streak across the sky last night June 6 at about 11pm. It appeared to be a large white ball with a short bright red tail shooting down to the east (I was facing north). I would have thought it was an aircraft coming down but for the speed. I almost expected to hear it crash into the earth! Amazing!     great report. thank you Melinda!  others?
