Meteor captured by the Hawley TX Sandia Sentinel All Sky Camera. This could be what witnesses observed over North Central Texas at 9:21:08 p.m.-21:21:08 MST  (03:21:08 UTC 2/13/11)  the evening of Feb 12 2011.

Guest346 (guest): wbowen, bright (-7 to -9) meteor Feb. 12, 2011 9:20p CST, N-NW sky, 2-5 seconds duration, travelling northbound on I-45 near Wortham, TX. Meteor path was approx. 80 degrees from upper left to lower right, starting about 68 degrees high and ending just above horizon.

Guest846 (guest): Saw a very bright fireball falling to earth near Austin TX at 9:30pm while driving in the car. A small piece of it broke off - seemed to big to be a meteor. I was SW of Austin,TX looking towards Austin when I saw it. It was falling straight down to earth

nico holmes-gull las vegas, nv approx. 8:00PM while on my front lawn i saw a very fast moving object with a green tail streak across the sky at what seemed to be a low altitude.

Meteor News...Another Bolide Soars Across Italian Skies 10FEB2011...

Just two nights after a superbolide exploded over Italy on 8FEB2011 (see http://elpasoallsky.blogspot.com/2011/02/major-breaking-meteor-newssuperbolide.html ),  yet another bolide event has been captured by the Italian Meteor And TLE Network...this time at 20.06.40 hrs. ± 1 U.T. on 10FEB2011.
