Guest304 (guest): Live in Greeley Colorado and I also seen the meteor at 9:22pm. It was first small and white then grew into a sphere of turquoise and blame flame with a tail.
Guest304 (guest): blue*

Guest294 (guest): Driving north on I-25 tonight and saw a meteor around 6:50 near Raton, NM. Large. Then saw another one around around 9:30 near Pueblo, Co. The second one was larger and green. I think both were moving towards NW. Very cool!

Guest977 (guest): Louisville, CO. About 21:20-21:30. Driving, just turned north on Hwy 287 and saw a bright, bluish ball followed by a tapered white tail that was so bright it had blue/green colors on the edges. Flew from east to west, coming down. Lasted maybe 3-4 seconds.

Bright Green/Blue Fireball-
Lyons, CO. Jan. 14th, 2011 approx. from 9:30-10:15pm MST. In the Northern sky traveling NW at a steep downward angle. It was larger than the size of the full moon and nearly as bright. It lasted for just over 3 seconds. I have seen many large meteors and fireballs over the years this was the largest and brightest by far. Two of us witnessed in awe, a very bright fireball with a green core (core looked like it was fractured in 5 pieces) with radiating blue, orange, then white rays of light with bright white-orange tail. We were awestruck at its vibrant intensity from the comfort of the hot tub.  I happened to see it in its entirety because I was reclining in the hot tub and looking right where it first appeared.

ELPALLSKY RESPONSE: Guest 247, ABQ is a high military air traffic corridor. You MAY have seen some of that. I have, however, notified Sandia Labs to check their cams for what you report. If they WERE meteors/fireballs, Sandia will have them and I will post immediately if they do. Thanks for the heads up!
