I confirm this and sure wish we could have caught this on video. Absolutly the brightest I have ever seen!<br />We are 5 miles south of town and on the west side of the lake. I was looking northeast and it started about 40 degrees, up at about twelve o'clock in front of me and was streaking down and out, from about 12 to 9 o'clock that would be moving to my left. I saw it from start to end from narrow to wide bright getting brighter as it came in about 3 and 1/2 seconds like a very long narrow cone. Looked like it was over DFW from my line of sight when the light ended.
